i was on here a while ago when i set my tank up, probably not been on for a couple of years though. the tank has been stable and steady, no major fish disasters etc, and i managed to curb my inability not to buy fish everytime i went to the shop for food
anyways, thats for another thread. before i left the site i brought some xmas moss for my tank. it didnt really take and kept floating around so i binned it. a few strands got left in the sand and under the decor,and from that my tank is now over run with the stuff without even trying to grow it ! i pull out 3 or 4 serious sized fistfulls every 2 or 3 months, and have just been binning it. so my question is:
do people still buy clumps of moss off the forum? if so how does it get posted and what does it cost ? i seem to remember paying a fiver for a small ball, smaller than the bits ive got.
as i said, my tank is not setup for plant growth, i dont add anything to the water for plant growth, my lights are old because i cant find replacements but this stuff just keeps growing and looks quite healthy. im sure its not of the utmost highest quality, but ive given some to 2 of my mates and its taken in their tanks aswell.
