Ok folks I have maintained my 60l jewel for my girls in there bedroom and as they are a bit older I have decided a I want to rescape the tank and add sand and rocks as the substrate with a few live plants .
Ive decided im going to move the tank to my living room and have a few questions for you all

The tank still has the internal filter - keep or remove ? its one of the hideous black boxes in the corner

If I remove whats the ideal turnover for an external filter on a 60l tank any suggestions for the filter accepted

whats the best plants to add with a minimum of upkeep

tank will have cory, tetras and Gourami

when i go for it i will take pics and post up for all to see

Do a journal in the planted section mate, external filter you want something over 600lph, plant wise how about Anubias, Mosses, Microsorum and some small Echinodorus species, maybe even some chain swords for foreground? All low maintenance and slow growing. :)
