cracker i heard if you do a dump on top of them it will remove all ammonia + give them a food source to eat for 1 week.

test my theory and let me know the results.

I've been doing this for a long time and I'm not encountering any problems as a matter of fact they get so healhty and yes they are so fat lol

ahhhh so its true, i thought so our waste is so high in protein and that would explain why ur bettas are nice and fat, they are indirectly eating all ur noodles, fried rice and chicken

How do you know its dirty, did you swab it and take it to the lab? Swamps look dirty to me, but im sure the fish love it. Anyways we cant all live in nice suburbs of orange county.

i dont think that this person knows who cracker is, have you seen some of the fish he breeds and the countless spawns he has successfully done.

cracker if i knew a quarter of what you know id be happy and if i had a quarter success that you have id be happy.

cracker knows his bettas, and im sure if he has his bettas in a toilet bowl then it must be ok.

Dan-25 is right, I believe. SoCalMom doesn't know Cracker. She doesn't know what a pro he is. I wouldn't throw bettas in a toilet but Cracker can because he knows what he's doing. Hell, he could probably fill up an old dumpster with water and raise show grade bettas in it. He's just got the touch when it comes to bettas.

SoCalMom has a point though. They bowl looks fairly dirty, but seriously....can you really tell from a picture? It is not for us to judge Cracker's "betta skills" through how he raises his fry. But...the conditions ARE pretty bad. I mean, I don't think I'd like living in a toliet. If using a toliet bowl is what he does, and his fry turn out happy and healthy....that's all that really matters! Cracker's probably a pro at this, so he knows what he's doing.....I would probably never put them in a toliet bowl because of filth and waste (OUR waste) but that's just me. It's totally up to you on how you raise your fish.

I just wish people wouldn't but such hypocrites......*points to my topic*
