Attack On Monpani.

i was browsing ebay always on the look out for a after christmas bargain and came across a bogwood seller stating the following....


NOT cheap mopani wood. This inferior product and ecologically unsound wood will rot and pollute your tank! This is the reason JJC Aquatics do not stock it!

i was quite surprised after reading this as for one reason my tank is full on monpani and two i don't think its that cheap! what are your views?

apparently in time mopani wood will start to rot and therefor give of toxins etc which can pollute your tank water, but i think its quite a while before this happens
