At Times This Hobby Is Unnecessarily Exspensive

I have been going to my lfs for years now even when I didn't have fish and knows one of the managers really well and they give me great discounts. For instant I got the Fluval edge for 70 quid instead of 100 so for me it's quite cheap.

Sorry to burst your bubble but I think £70 is the RRP for the 23 litre Fluval Edge?

When the new led lights came out it was 100 another good example then is in got a dwarf ram (£3) Fluval filter media (£5) and a filter sock (£1) all for a fiver I get api stress coat 8 quid bottle for a fiver they are very reasonable I just ordered some Fluval 20g co2 canisters and they are doing me for £10

Ah, my apologies in that case!

Just been to Ripples on Stafford Park 11 (Telford branch I think), it's a fantastic place. They have everything I could ever need there and for reasonable prices too (compared to my other LFS). They're only recently set up (a few weeks ago?). In there first stock they had a few BN plecos... Well I might've come home with some more Mopani wood and a 3 week old BN :D Sexing him/her is impossible at this stage, they're only an inch long :) I understand they get 6 times this size (6 inches) maximum?
