Are these shrimp fry?

Hi. Added 6 cherry shrimp to my new tank on Saturday, and noticed this morning these tiny white things swimming and jumping about. Are these fry? (The white 3 pronged thing in the middle of the picture)

No, doesn’t look like fry. No clue what they are, without better pictures.

When you feed the shrimp, do the white things come and eat?

Newly hatched cherry shrimps look like miniature adult shrimps.

Thought as much, I’ll get the macro out and see if I can improve on the picture, but they are really small

Theyre cyclops. The one shown is a female carrying eggs

Harmless! Fish and fry will eat them sometimes too. I culture them in green water and use them to feed fry lol
They won't harm your shrimp either.
Just don't overfeed as then you may see a huge population of them

Only got 6 shrimp in the 120l tank at moment so plenty in there for them to eat without additional food. In 4 weeks will be adding to the clean-up crew. Then a few weeks after that my existing fish will be moved into their temporary home whilst the main tank is being set-up and cycled.

Cheers. It was given to me by the shop I got my tank from “aquarium gardens“. Think it’s mini Christmas moss. Went with the tree for my first tank as I have about 15 Bonsai trees in the garden.

I'm trying to source more Christmas Moss for my tree but can't find enough. Might need to finish it with something else.
