Yeah, I expect they're real. Might be dyed though. Would certainly be very expensive!

The spotted are a relatively new strain apparently.
Love the red & White, do hope they're not dyed

i dont think they are , that would mean that the red one would have to have originally all perfectly clear fins and that would be pointless to color beautiful fins like that!

What you have is a black dragon, a red dragon and I know lilifishie has one like the one in the top left but smaller find as he's a double tail :)

I love the red dragon
I saw a halfmoon with the same coloring as the double tail in the top left corner at a pet store the other day really pretty

I hear my name :D

heres my yougn DTHM male like the 1 above, bred by me

i have several dragon bettas (black & blue, lilac & orange, green & yellow, silver & orange)

the 2 black and whites are more than likely marbles so will change a lot in there lifetime :)

Breeders of Betta splendens are quite creative. I suspect that all of the fish that you posted pictures of are readily available. In fact, Betta splendens is already a fish that really is almost never seen in its wild configuration. Instead we are accustomed to fish with long fins and nice colors (my own is a bluish grey colored veiltail). A wild type splendens bears almost no resemblance to those fish. Instead it is a blue/red mixed color with fairly short fins. What you are looking at is the result of selective breeding over several generations.
