Are Tall Thin Tanks Suitable?

I saw this on ebay and it seems like a bargain

octagonal tank

But I'm not sure how suitable it would be for tropical fish, and whether cleaning the gravel would be a bit of a nightmare?

What do you think? It's a bargain but would I actually be able to keep anything in it successfully?

you cant keep alot of fish in a tall thin tank its long is what you need. Asfish dont just stay at one part of the tank like mid dwellers can go everywhere you know.

So i wouldnt suggest a tall tank as it would be quite difficult to do it successfully!

i have one of those tanks and they are a pain.......trust me dont put yourself through it lol cleaning is a nightmare
