Are Platys Dirty Fish?

I got 5 platys for my tank the other day, ti's my first time owning them. Seems like all they do is poo. Is this normal?

Oh yes, it’s quite normal. Usually you see a string a poo trailing behind them. What is not normal is white stringy poo. But what you see is normal. Sometimes they hang is on the plants like their decorating a Christmas tree.

i've only had them a day and only fed them once

Feed live foods I find their much better with that.

what does it mean when it's white poo? somethimes my paltys do that....

Im pretty sure that means internal parasites.

White poo can indicate parasites or a bacterial infections.
