Aquarium Hood

Hi all, o was wondering where I can get custom made hoods for tanks, I can't find any hoods with lighting for a 60 inch tank, also how would I get lighting if the tank has no original hood

I'm not sure where you can get custom hood. I made my own, its really not that difficult. This way you can choose the amount of light your tank will receive.  You'll need to choose electrical ballast for your hood. The ballast controls the amount of lights you can have, and how much light they emit.

If you know a joiner get him to knock you a hood up,lighting shouldnt be any probs,go the led route,what size of tank you getting?

About 110 gallons? The tank is 60 inches long, how much would a custom hood be?

Hmmm Not sure but it wouldnt be that expensive to make your own,i think there is a gut on here who is on youtube who shows making hoods,tanks etc its really good,i got some ideas on there,you should take a look i think someone sent me a link our the guys name on youtube il look my threads and see who he is called.

Did you look him up? i watched him anesthetise a fish and cut its tail off lol hes a genius there is some good videos of him making stuff.
