hi everyone i would like to know if this filter would be good enough for a 5gal tank. If so, what should i use as media?

Should be fine if I'm right, once u add an air pump too it.

Media - sponge, but of ceramic, even gravel....what's going in the tank? Fry?

not sure yet probably a school of neons... its in the bedroom and want to keep it simple!
