Thanks, ral, I've contacted Angel and bought some bettas from him in the past. Yep, the plakats were nice giants. I didn't get a very good look at them but I didn't get any because they seemed closer to the fighting variety to me, and I prefer the fancier ones. The newer plakats from Kelson, etc. I can't really afford.
I've been thinking of ordering from Thailand. My biggest concerns, though, are shipping and method of payment. From what I've been told, EMS is the cheapest way to go, but I just don't know how rough things might get with the post office, or if the package can get through directly to my door. I'm not sure which methods of payment would cost me minimal charges in fees, etc. as well.
