Apple Snail Or Golden Algae Eater?

Would an 8cm Golden Algae Eater harm fry?
The fry are Zebra Danios and range from 0.5cm-2cm in size.
Would the Algae Eater harm the fry or should I just stick to the Apple Snails?

i would just stick to apple snails, considering that the golden algae eaters can get to a foot long

They are also territorial fish that have been known to use their sucking mouthparts to suck slime off other fish and bite chunks of flesh off too.

Not for any community tank .

Apples snails should not be used as a clean up crew, they need a proper diet and will get ill and die if just used as Algae eaters

Algae Eaters will grow huge

Apple snails are a great addition to the tank, but are no clean up crew, That's your job

Like all "Algae Eaters", "Clean up Crew" you will need to subsidised there diet with various foods, not just algae and waste
