Apistogramma Agassizii Is This Normal

it all seems to have calmed down now there fine together bt i think i might put the 2 glowlights from my 30g into the 10g and get a couple more and then i can get a few more female bettas in my 30g

I also agree that cherry barbs are some of the most peaceful fish that i've ever kept. They rarely fight amongst themselves let alone with other fish.

thanks im hopefully getting 4 more female bettas a week on monday so i will get some more glowlights then

I would stock it with a total of 6 glowlights. Also, If you could move the betta into his own small tank, the apistogramma would be very appriciative of that.

Sounds ok, but up the Glowlights to at least 6

Yeah I agree. I hope they breed for you, at least I think that is what you want.

6 more or up to 6? The first would be better.

is 29c to hot for them to breed coz my tank has been at 29-30c in the day and 28-29c at night

I've cleaned up this topic, way too many off topic posts. Let's keep it on the apisto topic please.

I've kept many dwarf cichlids at that temperature with no problems. Water changes a couple of degrees cooler will help to induce spawning.

Just because a fish is skinny does not mean that they don't want to breed. I mean a skinny chick might want to, well, you know.
