Apistos aren't my thing but this doesn't look like an Apisto, it looks more like an Laetacara or Nannacara imo

Is it still young? What is the size? It could be a nijsseni which has not yet coloured up...

They was sold as some kind of apisto so they said, ive got 3 of them there about 2" max.

Looks like a juvenile of a Laetacara sp to me. (body shape and mouth)

are you gonna go back to viscum john? Obviously you won't be taking the fish back but I think it is worth telling them it was mis-sold, you may get something as a freebie sweetener.

Thanks for the info on fish they are Laetacara curviceps,
Yeah Paul the shop is not as good as I thought. Looks like two have pair up and bred they keep attacking the other one Ive had to move him out.
