Do you mean the master kit with all the usual tests in? Yes, it's a good affordable all-rounder. What do you use at the moment?

i used to take it down to my LFS each week untill i picked up the master test kit from a carboot (£15 with a tank heater filter gravel light and air pump) . although it doesnt have nitrate in it and my LFS hasn't got a nitrate test which they do for free (although they might sell them)
if not i was going to get this

Yes it'll be fine.

A tip if you get it - before doing the test, shake the bottle til your arm is about to fly off, then whack the bottom of the bottle on a surface a few times, and then shake it a bit more. The reagents in it settle a lot and give skewed results if it isn't shaken properly.

ohh thanks for the tip, should that be done with all my test kits? (my ammonia bottle 2 has a small leak so might not be the best idea...its a pain when doeseing as well.. bigger drops so i put 1 or 2 less in ;p)

That is only necessary for the nitrate test.
