Yes i have medical PTSD. Too many doctors lying to me and gaslighting me unfortunately. I cant stand it. I could be dying and not want to go to the ER because they always dismiss me. I was collapsing and passing out and shaking and slurring my words and they told me "i just have a cold making me tired". No viral symptoms at all. I had rectus abdominis (the 6 pack muscles) completely torn off from my pelvis, couldnt walk up the stairs for 2 years at 16-18 and they told me it was all in my head and those injuries cant happen. Flew accross the country to get surgery. And many other times

Thats just so screwed up. They have ONE job. To make sure their patients have THE BEST care possible.

It is funny, not in a fun way, how things can affect the body. A woman I worked with before my retirement is a breast cancer survivor that was cured mostly through chemo. The chemo changed her body. After the chemo she is now allergic to garlic but was not before the chemo. I say this tongue in cheek but, if I can't have garlic, just put me out of my misery.

The thing is they wont treat me or give me a feeding tube if needed until i did the test, so now thats done we can see

you also stood in front of a gamma ray machine and they are much worse than a barium meal.

Please be careful JuiceBox. Try different doctors and find one who will work with you and not expose you to hazardous tests. You are too young to be going through this.

Have you spoken to a herbalist or alternative therapist?
They might be able to offer some insight into what is wrong. You don't have to take anything they suggest but they might have ideas your doctors haven't thought of.

Doctors are human, and often rushed. I'm only alive because of a few of them, and I am forever grateful for their care. They used some methods that can easily be criticized now, as we have learned more, but they were the best available at the time, and here I am, annoying you guys.
My wife is on the positive side of a hellacious bout with multiple cancers, and the cure almost killed her. The disease certainly would have and her doctors were very open about the side effects and risks. She's doing well now on all scans, and there is hope. But a close brush with death came when a COVID denying nurse brought the virus onto the ward when she was hospitalized. A number of people died around her. She didn't get it by luck and following protocols. Chemo was horrific, and the side effects a nightmare. But she's here and gets to wake up in the morning and enjoy a day.

As a teacher of languages, an earlier job of mine, I taught a number of alternative therapists and herbalists who were learning English. You'd be just as safe asking a phone scam caller for medical advice and cures.

I haven't had the procedure in question, and there are a few where the side effects are just awful. I hope this one's a short term problem. Hang in there.
