Anyone Remember Good Customer Service?

A couple of weeks ago I had to move my 4ft tank out of the living room into the kitchen while redecorating. When I came to set the filter back up in the kitchen, somehow the clips holding the tap together had broken off. Luckily, Chris at The Reef Ranch (literally around the corner from me) managed to make an emergency repair so I was still able to use it. Now it's time to move the damn thing back into the living room, I contacted Tetra last Wednesday by email to see if the guarantee covered accidental damage. The next night I got into work to find their reply; ''send us your address and we'll put a couple of new taps in the post''. They arrived yesterday morning. I'm gobsmacked; I honestly didn't think companies did things like that anymore. Nice one Tetra.
 
Nice to hear that some of the big companies still value their customers. Well done to tetra.
 
That is good, you dont get that from many places anymore. Nice one.
 
The company for which I work (PG Drives) make among other things, wheelchair controllers. If ANYTHING goes wrong with them ANYWHERE in the world, they are instantly swapped out FOR A NEW ONE, FOC.

tetra are great - did the same for me with my valves for me EX1200
 
Sounds good, ill bare this in mind when choosing aquarium parts in the future, good customer services are a real plus :)
 
.........unlike the silent treatment I am getting off a fleabay member: I win auction, pay INSTANTLY. Not a dickie bird for 2 weeks now. No camera, no response to emails. 100% feedback t'boot. Why me? And now I don't know what to do beyond bugging her for a response....

Report them and insist on a full refund :)
