Anyone Know Who's Eggs These Are?

Hi there,
Just had a nosey in my tank and noticed this little splodge of white dots in one of my small grassy plants. Not sure who they have come from, or even if they are eggs?! They look as though they are...here's a pic anyway...

Sorry for the dodgey pic, but they are quite small and my phone's camera isnt good enough when I zoom in!!

They havent been very well hidden, and they dont appear to be 'stuck' to the leaves of the plant. It just looks like some gloopy stuff with lots of very tiny white blobs inside.

I assume they will be snapped up by my greedy female guppy, or whoever else notices them first. I have no intention to breed my fish so I will just leave the eggs to their own devices, if they do emerge into little fish then great! I'm just hoping they arent smelly snail eggs =\ I hate snails =[

If it's a jelly like sac with eggs in it, it's probably snail eggs. We know you have a guppy as you have stated but since guppy are live bearers, we can rule that out. Who else lives in the tank?

Yeah I got rid of my male guppies as I was sick of the breeding!!
I have cherry barbs (3 male, 3 female) neon tetra's (2 male, 2 female I *think*) and 4 harlequin rasbora's and 4 corydoras that I have no idea about their sex =S

Hmm, well I don't think they are fish eggs. The main reason is because they probably would have been eaten by the other fish by now.

Oww =[ Oh well! If they are snails eggs I want to get them out of the tank as I hate being over run with snails, but the other snails eggs I found looked a bit different.

Hard to tell from the image, does your camera have a macro function? If so could you take a more in focus photo? It would make identification so much easier.

It does but apparently today it is deciding not to work =\ Everything is coming out really blurry. Sorry.
If it helps, the little dots inside dont seem to be round, they are more like teeny tiny rice shapes?

No, nothing like cory egss at all.

I've read that cory's stick their eggs to the glass or leaves etc. Whereas these eggs are just in a gloop sitting in amongst a plant.
