Anyone In The Bournemouth Area Want To Split P&p On Plecos?

I am buying Starlight plecs from vickiandkev and already have one other person who has asked about splitting the cost of P&P on the plecos. Is there anyone else in the Bournemouth area who would like to buy and split the cost of P&P with us?

I would ask that anyone who wishes to split the P&P costs contact me no later than 6pm this coming Sunday (14th Nov).

I have a quarantine tank that I can hold the plecs in until they can be picked up. Obviously you would have to make your own payment to vickiandkev for a pleco but any share of the P&P would have to be paid to me on collection of the plecs? Of course I`ll have to check with and confirm with vickiandkev how many plecs are required.

Just thought it may help if anyone else would like to buy but can`t afford the full cost with P&P added

elisew, I've been very tempted by those L183s, but I need to be sure they will fit in with either my 240l or 540l tank stocking plans and then see if I have room for just one or several...

I just thought it would make it more 'do-able' as I know a few people are thinking about having them and if we can get the total a bit cheaper and vickiandkev get more sales then everyones happy

Needed to bump this thread as the deadline has now moved to Thursday for anyone who wishes to have a Starlight Pleco from vickiandkev.

The Plecos will be delivered to my address by vickiandkev themselves as they are now driving down, so there will be none of the Courier concerns that some people have when fish are sent via the postal system.
You will have to contact and make payment to vickiandkev directly for the pleco/s and then sort out your share of the delivery cost with me when any plecos are picked up.

Please, if you`re interested in having one or some of these plecos and wish to split the cost of delivery with myself and Tetra-Chris, post on this thread no later than 8pm on Thursday 18th November.

Gives me some vital extra time!

I love the idea of having one or more L183s, but I'm struggling to be decisive upon how I split the current fish stocking I have in the 240l and 540l, knowing that I also want to "upgrade" the Yellowtails and Pearl Danios from the 620T. Given that I have the following bottom dwellers...

• 3 Synodontis brichardi
• 8 Weather Loach youngsters
• 3 Indian Redtail Squirrel Loaches
• 3 Panda Garra juveniles
• 4 adult Lionhead Cichlids, including at least one (rather agressive) male
• 10+ Lionhead fry (can start looking for homes come early December)

to split between those two tanks, I need to be sure I have enough space in a tank with the right conditions (~23C). They might be possible long term in the 620T, it all depends on how they are likely to be with the delicate Filament Glassfish!

Its crazy, four tanks and I really feel I have lost focus on creating suitable conditions and tankmates for some of my fish...

I`m afraid I can`t give you any advice Goat, I wouldn`t know where to start with anything other than my little community fish But I`m sure you know what you`re doing and will juggle accordingly


I really don`t want to pass up the opportunity of the Starlights as I think they are gorgeous looking plecs, I`ve bought 2 of the Starlights and I think due to their size 1 of them will be ok in the 35L until grown a bit. I`ll probably add that 1 to the other 1 in the community tank at some point later on but you never know I may have another big tank by then
