I got this yesterday with a load of guppies, if very calm and fine even around fry, looks like some sort of tetra, all/ any help welcomed and thanks in advance

All tetras normally prefer groups of 6 to feel safe.

I have white skirt tetras and they can be aggressive and eat all the fry.

It has got a look of Pristella, If the tail reddens up or blushes up in the case of female that's what it could be! Same with the eye colour if that reddens it's probably is a Lemon Tetra

Pretty sure after comparing to google it is a lemon tetra as no red on any of it, for the time being it enjoys being a Platy lol. Just need to find some more as friends

he should colour up pretty quick now he's settled in the aquarium you should be able to tell then, both are pretty cheap so you shouldn't have too much trouble sourcing some locally

Yes it really does, minus the red hint on the tail and fins, is this for male or female or both?
