Anyone Got One Of These,i Need Recomendations Good/bad

well what are you planning on stocking it with? It looks a little tall for my tastes. I like the shorter and wider tanks because you can fit more different types of fish in there. I would have a community of small shoaling fish in there with plants and wood. Thats bout it

The lighting might not be sufficient for live plants either so you might have to mod in a more powerful light, possibly a pc depending on what plants you get. And who knows how good the built in wet/dry will work. But, I really don't like the "box" tank set-ups, as I'm a control freakand want things the way i want them... but they are good for quick and easy set-up :good:

i have the aqua one ar980 they are a good tank but i prefer to use my own filter with it and use the bit were the built in filter was suppose to as a storage compartment

hi ox thanks, it would be for my platys and mollys,im not really bothered about plants anymore it seems the more i buy the more my fish eat,( clown loaches, oscars) so it would be the very basic of plants,is this sort of tnak the one with an electronic balast?? ( as a pose to magnetic), as i have a tank similar to this tank, and the balast went and now im stuffed, as i have no knowledge of that sort of stuff! but the guy only wants £50 for the whole thing, and its not that old.and in good nick

good thinking :good:

Hi
We have aquaone tanks, although not the same size as this one. If the lighting is the same as ours, plants grow really well :good:
The 500 we have, has two twin tube bulbs, making 2 whites and 2 blues. The smaller one just has one twin tube bulb, but the plants seem to do fine :good:

Ive got an aqua one 620t-i use the filter system across inside the lid but i dont reckon its that great so i use an internal fluval 2 plus. The main bug bear i find is that the tubes dont last long-in a tank that deep-the bottom is only really lit bright with new tubes. But anyhow it still looks great in my living room.

I think it's too tall to be not annoying when you clean it. My tank is 20 inches tall and it bugs the pants off me.

helen get your mind out of the gutter!!! the postman comes at 2 in the afternoon, water changes take place in the evening..
