My driftwood has been floating for 8 weeks now. I thought it would be saturated by now, but it's not. I'm using a couple pieces of heavy slate to hold it down now.

I used to have a peice of drift wood floating in my open top jack Dempsey tank. He'd push it around and eventually some plants started growing on it. It was actually kinda nice. After about a year it sank.
