any suggestions??

I've got a Sailfin Pleco, and he's absolutely beautiful. I would go for a bristlenose, though, my sister has one, he's just as good as other plecs.

please can anyone tell me if the red tailed black shark can go in my tank?

Also i was wondering if my red dwarf gourmias would be less aggressive twords the blue one with more fish in the tank? He has a small tear in his tail fin from a recent attack that i witnessed.
You could get a Red Tail Black Shark with your current fish, but be wary of getting anything else that is remotely shark shaped (even another RTBS) they are very territorial. A side note, though, I would question a stockist that receives fish one day and sells them the next, they should quaranteen them for a period. If I was you, I would reserve one of the sharks, but ask them to keep it for a couple of weeks.

Putting more fish in your tank will not reduce your Gourami's aggression, they are naturally often aggressive towards each other. Try introducing more planted areas for the submissive one to take shelter in, or maybe taking one of the Gourami back to the shop...

sorry i wasn't very clear on how the store quarentiens (not spelled right) the fish. They have several locations around the city I'm in and they keep all the fish quarentiened at one location and after proper water tests are done at each of their locations they are allowed to ship them to the new location and sell them after 24hrs. the actual policy is kinda weird to understand but i've never had any trouble with the store and i have been dealing with them for years.

Ok, fine if you have had no previous, they must know what they are doing :) I just thought that being bagged twice in 48 hours may be stressful, even if they are travelling only a short journey. Good luck anyway! ;)

you might be right I don't know it may be stressful but like i've said i've had no problems. The store is always clean and during my many visits i've probley only ever found 1, maybe 2 dead fish in more than 25 tanks (thats 1-2 fish in all the times i've ben there, which by now, must surly be in the triple digits).

Almost every time i go there there is a qualified staff member ready to anser my questions and they are always cleaning the tanks, by vaccuum or even using a sponge to clean the inside of the glass .

all this care makes this store pretty good.
