Any Small Schooling Fish For A 3 (uk) Gallon Hex?

It's weird, most forums I'm on have ADF owners complaining about how still and dead they are. Mine must be hyperactive, they're always swimming around and stuff.

It's also possible that since I tend to be awake from 10AM to 4AM, that the frogs and I are simply awake at the same time.

Mine are active often too. I mean if they were all that was in a tank...but they are just one more eye catcher in an active and varied tank.

Mama is swimming and darting around right now.

Happy Birthday Neal!

A fiddler crab, maybe? There are a couple new threads that had pics of red clawed crabs; they were cute. I'm thinking you can only have one crab for a small 3 gallon though.

As I was once charmed by fiddler crabs, I did a rather minor amount of research towards their care. I think that crabs in general probably require more like 5-10g each. One thing that was noted in most of the literature I found was 'floor space', which was often quoted at 1ft. A large number of (types and species, not quantity) crabs also need a place to climb out of the water for a spell, as well.

But perhaps there is some species out there that would fourish under these circumstances. *shrug* I don't know.

I have kept 4 wcmm's in a 3 gallon for a year, they do well on their own and dont require a heater, they also school together. Those, or enders, or even small catfish, like pygmy's

Hmm, how many WCMM's could I have in my 3 Gallon? I'll do water changes as much as needed, it's about 3ft away from the sink, so sorted. Also, is there anything I should know about WCMM's? are they a hardy fish, are they expensive and are they good for a begginer?

best fish for beginner, suppppper hardy, cycled my tsnk with no problems. They get too about 1-1.5 inches. I think 4 would be ok, they prefer groups of 5 or more but i have kept 4 happily. They perfer coldwater aquariums but adapt to tropical, they like a nice current.

Theyre quite simmilar to neon tetras, just 10x hardier.

Google search: White Cloud Mountain Minnows

Mine were 65p each

Wow, I might get 5, i'll keep ontop of water changes + my tank looks bigger than 3 Gallons, but if my maths worked it should be 3 Gallon, looks alot bigger IMO.
Do they like places to hide and are they more active than neon tetras? Do they like plants in their tank or not?
Sorry for all the questions, but it is helping me so thanks.
