Any Practical Fishkeeping Subscribers Here?

I bought an issue with a WH Smith gift voucher I had, and I'm considering subscribing. I notice that the free gift for subscribing right now is a tub of food and some water conditioner, but I seem to remember back along some people got a free nano tank.

Are there any subscribers about who would know how often they change the gift for subscribing?

if i was you id wait until they cjanged it to something good. i susbscribe to practical classics, a car mag, and today i got a new one and the free gift was some spanners. seems to be every 3 or 4 months they change it in that mag. but, i worked out i only save about a fiver a year, so you're not really missing out not being subscribed while waiting for something good. check the price of subscription and the cover price, see what you save.

i want to know if anybody has ever tried unsubscribing, then re-subscribing to get another free gift ? nothing in the mags smallprint says you cant, but surely they dont allow it ?

That's what I was thinking.

There's nothing else I want in WH Smith, and I have another £8 on the gift card, which will buy me another two issues when they come out. I worked it out and subscribing only saves about 50p an issue so it's worth waiting for something decent. I've got massive amounts of flake and water conditioner tucked away, I don't need more

Subscription free gift this month is a fluval mini co2 system for tanks up to 57 litres.

Also for this month only you can subscribe for the lower rate of £3.55 per issue. Next month it will work out over £4 per copy.

Im a subscriber. i always get it as a xmas present off my mother in law and i think because she does it before xmas they always have good freebies. i got a jbl water testing kit

Wish I could subscribe (or even enter the comps) but instead I just get my local New Agent to order it in for me, they are always a month behind arriving in Australia any way.
