Well, i have a ten gallon tank with 2 dwarf Gouramsi, 3 zebra danios, 2 peppered corydoras, and a rubbernose pleco. Recintly Another Danio has died, and i want to add something new and interesting. I love sharks, but i heard the non-aggresive ones grow too big! I like Dwarf Puffers, but i am unsure if they would attack the other tankmates. Any one have any ideas of a new fish i could add to my tank? Don't say livebearers because i am not interested in them anymore. Also, i live in Canada, so if this is a fish that is located solely in the UK please don't torment me with unreachable fish, I want to get another fish soon, so plese reply ASAP.

From what i have heard, Dwarf Puffers are really too aggressive to keep in community tanks with much success, while all shark type fish will grow too large for a 10gallon tank (tanks for shark variety fish usually start at least 29gallons long).

Really what you should do is increase your zebra danio numbers to about 5 strong (since they are shoaling fish and 3 is to few for them to shoal properly) and add another cory (since they do better in groups rather than pairs) and keep it to that. You could opt for new leopard danios instead of zebra ones, as they are actually the same type of fish, just different pattern varieties. The rubbernose plec will place a strain on the filtration of the tank (they poop a lot) as it grows, so getting another filter for the tank (so that you have 2 filters in the tank in total, or just one new larger one with cloned filter bacteria) will sort that issue out.

Other than that, i would advise just keeping the tank as it is. You have quite a few fish for a 10gallon tank, if you really want to expand your stocking options it would be best to upgrade to at least a 15-20gallon long tank :) .

I agree your tanks sounds fine as it is. In fact you might be pushing it a little bit with all those fish. You should look into a larger tank you can have more fun with them and they are easier to care for then small ones. Also you have more option with a larger tank. If you have the room and money try and get a 50 Gal for the holidays. or a 20 gal would be ok.

Try and get a bigger tank then you can go crazy picking out fish.
