Another Loony Fish!

arrghh thats what bailey is  i was confused when the thread started, he is stunning,as said weldone for rehoming other fishes...90% of the fish i own are rehomed from forum members..hehe

Now iam not going im getting more tanks hopefully, bid on a few last night but lost out on them all,one i lost by bloomin 50p... was a nice rio 4ft that went for 31pounds with stand etc,

You not going anymore nelly? What happened, change of plans eh?

Are you sure about the boy thing? Because I found an article about head shapes distinguishing the gender rather than the fins etc The green is usually a sign of indifference where as breeding colours are bright white Ill try to find the head profile pics :) So glad she is in such a big tank now :) Thanks again for tanking her

Wills

There is so little info on them it is hard, but from what I found today the females dont show the green so deep (aparantly), but yes if you can find the head info too that would be great.

Nelly sorry for confusing you I was just too excited and forgot to but what Bailey was lol

Seems Bailey is well settled in, had a good breakfast (at last, thank Wills it was flake she wanted). I have been looking up more on the male/female id and now I am more confused re head shapes? (not hard to confuse me) So I am at a loss as to whether Bailey is a boy or girl, no matter really the name Bailey suits both lol. I have discovered Bailey does not like my green hose I use for water changes, he was ok with the clear one for vaccing the gravel but took a real dislike to my wider green one, funny the plecs and the servs dont like the green one for some reason?

Update: (for Wills really) Bailey is doing fantastic, I swear she has grown already :hyper: , she is a really treasure in the tank, gets on well with everyone, athough she has completely destroyed my trumpet snail population, I had a scare thinking she was flicking on the bottom, but she was just moving stones to get at the snails, its fantastic watching her "hunt" she will watch the gravel for movement and then flick at the stones to expose the snail, then swim off round the tank with it

haha thats awesome so glad shes got settled :) Any pics of her next time you get the camera would be great :D I take it her killing spree has ended then?

I'll post a pic for you when I get the camera again, it seems she is taking out her aggression on the snails, I must put some more in
