Another Loony Fish!

The beautiful Baily is now home (thanks Wills), what an amazing fish! she is going to fit in well with my lot as she is a complete fruitcake!. While she was aclimatising after her long journey she decided to explore her new tank from inside the bag, I have never seen a fish move a bag round and round the tank the way she did. She really wanted a good look at the bottom as she was frantically trying to drag the bag down and almost managed it a couple of times. When it was finally time for her to come out of the bag I called to her and she gently swam to the top of the bag so I could tilt it over and she just cruised out as if she owned the place (I think she will by morning). She is a little stressed, only to be expected from the journey but what a gorgous fish. I have borrowed a camera from a friend so hopefully I maybe able to take a picture later.

(the 2 pictus have settled in straight away into their tank too and are playing silly devils with my 2)

ha cool glad you got her home okay forgot to warn you about how strong she is lol netting her out if always a very wet experience, really glad shes in a tank that can suit her properly now, if you need any info on them just ask there is next to 0 on the net but i trawled around a lot to find stuff out so I know a relative amount compared to the profile sites.

Glad the pictus are settled as well

Full stock list is under the photo, however the main fish you can see are Red spot Severum, Gold Severum and Geophagus Surinamensis.

Sorry for lack of and quality of pics, by the time I worked out the camera the batteries were dead because hubby had drained them taking pics of stuff we need to sell. Sorry the pics are blurry its a very basic camera.

Another re-homer is little Minxy, Minxyfish's little front, she is the one in the foreground with the slightly concave belly, she still causes me worry but she is still battling on.

Wills yes any info or need to know for her would be great, I have allready trawlled the net but as you rightly point out there is not a lot of info on her.

awww thanks both, I love taking in fish, I just love them all to bits, there is nothing worse I think than having to give up fish and end up taking them to a fish shop. But I think this is going to have to be the last for a while I am a little full lol, unless I can sell on the Texas eventually!!! or knock down a few walls to get some more tanks in lol

Its the flush of green belly thats given him away so there is either someone in the tank he fancies or its the fact he has been watching sponge bobsquarepants on the tv all day. Got both boys down with a cold and they are on the sofa watching the silly program and each time I go in to check on them Bailey is at the front of the tank all green displaying towards the tv???
