Another Identification Problem

Bought these awesome fish about a year ago, they were called burmese mountain trout, which i am pretty sure they are not. I asked at the shop, they say they are not in the book so cant give me a latin name. Bought at about 4 cm, now 2 inch. Brilliant fish wondering what they are though!

i know the photos are not great, but they are insane fast and never ever stay still. if it helps the identification they constantly shoal and skim the surface of the tank when lights turned are turned off, and do it all night long, untill i turn the light on.

I know they look gold in the pics but they are actually silver, with dark silver stripes. All fins are silver. i have had pentazona barbs before, they are also awesome fish. Thanks for having a go.

If they are 5cm after a year, they could easily be Barilius hukaungensis. I have B. dogarsinghi and B. hukaungensis, the former are ~9cm SL after nine months and the latter are ~5cm SL after three months.

What setup (size, temp, filtration, powerheads etc.) have you got them in and what tankmates do they share with?
