Okay so now I've found out my bamboo will be okay submerged... and I know (from science class at my school) that bamboo, if cut in like half, will grow roots again at the place it's cut in half, now my question is do you think doing this myself would be good? because as it stands the curly bamboo I have is too long for my aquarium and touches the light hood... I was thinking of cutting it about 1" bellow the curl, would this work? or am I just being stupid?
