Look- You're gonna have to make a choice, acid water or alkaline water and the fish that come with those types of waters. You cant mess with nature otherwise nature will mess with you (a tank full of dead fish) if you are going to have your tank at an alkaline level, buy alkaline fish, simple as that. Granted, some fish are hardy and you can get away with a odd pH. You have to make decisions all throughout life, and fishkeeping.
Obviously very generalised, but your pH is really not that bad - and very similar to what many of us have to deal with.
