How would Angels cope with the following species? Please help! We have seen some gorgeous ones and would like one for our tank.

Male guppies (large), lampeyes(being moved this weekend to another tank), apistos, gobies, glass catfish and pearl gouramis?

Please dont shriek in horror, if anything we would prefer a lone angel over a pair of pearl gouramis though both would be a bonus.

Tank is 160litre (perhaps a bit more as only measure to top of display, there is a bit more above so proba more 170-180).

Thank you very very much for any help, sorry for all my questions and thanks for the patience.

p.s. the angel looking at is incredibly small at 1 inch, unsure of growth rate.

not sure on the guppies when it grows up with the guppys sparkly tail been nice and invitin lol

IMO, the pearls, Lampeyes (if they are "head & taillights - like I know them), & Glass catfish will be fine.

(If the gobies are Bumble bees, as I assume, they are too shy to be with Angels and the flappy tails of the guppy males will lure the Angel to attack).

The guppys may be moved to my sisters tank on growing up phase later (as she adores them ;)).

The lamp are normani ones, they have the wonderful blue headlights and opaque bodies. Good to hear the cats and gouramis will be fine (hopefully gouramis wont ebat angel plannign pair). The gobies are a freshwater I bleive they are peacock gobies locally breed. There will plenty of live plants (have half of what is needed at the moment rest in on Saturday so should be a jungle as suspect have over ordered)..and apistos good to go too?

So sorry to ramble, thank you both so much for replying quickly, really really appreicate.

Oh yes.... Appistos will be fine.....

If you're starting with a baby angel then you might very well be fine, I've found the toughy is with grown angels - they get a bit stuck in their ways lol.

Well we are acclimatising as we speak, it is an iddy biddy of an angel so hopefully good things, the largest things are the gouramis!
