Angelfish Spawning

one of my angels is laying eggs for the first time and i'm wondering what to expect next.just how agressive and protective are they?also,how many eggs do they usually lay?i have plenty of experience with livebearers but this is my first with egglayers.thanks in advance.

i have been enjoying it.this caught me by suprise because i couldn't tell if any had paired up yet.if any do hatch how long does it usually take?

if you get that far with the first batch, exspect wiggling eggs by late tuesday then about aweek before free swimming, the parents should fan the eggs almost constantly and gaurd them, even from your prying face,,,try not to peer in the tank to much, i know its difficult as you want to see, but this may well trigger them to destroy the eggs, tank mates are not a good idea,,,
if you get that far, maybe late tues you come home from work where did the eggs go,,,just look around a while, they have a habit of moving them around
