I have a 28 G and 33 G both with 4 young angel (i got them when they were dime size, their alot bigger now). I think I have a breeding pair in both tanksbut am not certain.
In the 28 G- Angel A attacks Angel C + D but not Angel B and Angel B doesn't attack anyone. Angel A seems protective of Angel B. Would Angel A + B be pairing off?
In the 33G- Angel A + B attack Angel C + D but not each other. The seem territorial and protective of each other. I assuming that these two (A+B) are pairing off?

um  a-b-c-a-d

ok angels as most cichlids should if they feel like it pair off,,,,the usual way this happens is you see them lip locking<test of strenth> and head to tail quivering and dancing,,, how you will notice is they should pull away from the others and try to be like a couple,,,then there should be the cleaning of glass/rock/slate/wood/even plants together, then they should do this for a few days litterally cleaning the whole tank, then a couple of days you should notice the breeding tubes appear at the base, once these are very prominant they breeding iminat!!!! but however first time batches do not usually come to anything, there again two females can also go through all the motions, so id wait to they lay the eggs :good:
