Angel fish mark on the head

Hi any idea what this mark could be on my angel's head I have also noticed edges of his tail fin seem a little split.

He is eating well and I have not noticed any change in his normal behaviour.

Ammonia = 0
Nitrite 0
Temperature 26C

It could be the early stages of hexamita.

Do you think I should use esha hexamita now or wait a little bit longer as he seems absolutely fine

Make sure the water is good (no ammonia or nitrite and a low nitrate).
Monitor fish.

It could be a few scales have rubbed off if the fish swam up against an ornament or something hard or sharp.

Thank you Colin I will monitor him for a few days and keep an eye on that lesion. As he is perfectly fine I am really anxious to use esha hexamita just yet.
