Angel And Discus Advice

Some of you may remember I have a 4ft 200-odd L tank on layby. I plan on making it a planted tank (you will see me in the planted section sooner or later). Basically, I have an Angel who is beginning to outgrow his 80L 2.5ft tank (he's looking awesome!) who I want to shift into the 4ft, and maybe get him a few friends. I also wouldn't mind some Discus fish.

Now I know Discus need a number of friends so basically, how many of each could I put in the 4ft tank if any? I also plan on having a group of corys (maybe Pandas or I might splurge on some more expensive species) and I'm not sure on others. Any help would be great.

I would put only a group of 6 angels (possibly with need to sell off 4, after two pair up).. If I wanted to keep a decent group of both fish, I'd look for a 6*2*2 ft tank, and then go for 6-8 of each species.

On top of the cichlids, a group of 20-30 full bodied tetra and 20 Corys would work well.

Okay, would it be possible to put Discus instead of Angels? I understand they need to be in a large group though which made me think it's not possible. Would the Angel be okay by himself with a group of Discus? He's pretty full of himself Not too keen on having angels pair up at the moment is the only thing.
