blimey even then i will still have to take them back how much will i need to keep them?

would that mean i could keep the angel fish?
 
You could keep the angels at a push not far off 30gal, but for the clown loaches i wouldn't get less than a 50gal, they need room to swim, as they get bigger they will need a 90gal.
 
Best to let them go and let them have a owner who can give them what the require, lfs never let you no how big fish grow, never buy id shark they grow massive, always research fish before you buy them, then you shouldn't have any problems, never buy a fish on inpulse just because it looks cool.
