do these reading look a bit funny to anyone
 
How long has the tank been set up.

Do you over feed.

A nitrate reading of 0 is good but rare.
Tap reading in nitrate has to be 0, live plants.
 
the tank be set up for about 3-4weeks.
did the first few day they was twice aday

now down to one havnt feed for 3 days apart from fry

yes two live plants and growing very well


tap water is 0 yes
 
That's fine then.
Have your nitrite reading raised yet.
It can take up to several weeks to cycle a tank.
 
Every tank different. So it's hard to say.
Do you know anybody who could give you a mature filter sponge.
Or try in tropical discussion, as some members donate mature sponges to members.
