Ammano Shrimp,what To Do With Him?

Hi all,

long story short, i have a 17 liter betta tank that seems to be going though another cycle (possibly cleaned media to much) anyway de to this my betta (my 3 year old named stuffing for some reason) has died as has 1 of the 2 ammano shrimp i had, Anyway i have got some Ammonia and am planning on doing a full fishless cycle, will i have to remove my single ammano shrimp survivor and place in my 180 liter community tank or could i leave him in there whilst cycling?

Put him in the comm tank, adding pure ammonia to the tank will kill him because it will be constantly at 5ppm for a while and theres now way you can do water changes etc to keep the water safe because it will defeat the object of a fishless cycle.

As above, remove the shrimp. Shrimp need to be in an established tank, a none cycled one will harm them.
