AMAZING! I got a female golden eyed cichlid..

SHE CHANGED COLOUR! As soon as he swam over to the bag he firstly, began displaying.. rather than the erect finned, stalking threat posture he used to use on his brothers, he puffed out his throat and swooped around her... And she went from a sort of browny yellow to that dark and beige checkerboard pattern I have seen from pictures on breeding females...

I wish he'd leave her alone for a bit, he's not left her side since she arrived- but she's taking it ok.

I think I have a pair- she seems well so I hope she settles in alright...
