Am I Missing Anything?

Currently I'm planning an ecosystem containing Fairy Shrimp, 5 Malaysian Snails, and 5 Ramshorn Snails. I'm also planning on throwing in Moneywort and Marismo Moss. I've designed a PVC pipe fitting for my tank containing a sponge to allow for gas exchange. I was wondering if there is anything else I'll need to keep the ecosystem healthy?

Hi

to achieve gas exchange you will need something to cause ripples on the surface of the water to allow gas to escape and air to go in.

Definitely make sure you cycle the tank before you add the shrimp, they need a well established ecosystem

I do have a waterfall pump, should that be enough?

Mine are a Thai cousin that are freshwater

I found my eggs from an eBay seller, but here is a farm in Arizona that specializes in them. I did read up and see that there are other types of Fairy Shrimp that are indigenous to the South Pacific.
