60L Daisy's Ricefish Tank

Tank looks really great wow! Do you use CO2?
Nice to see you back on the forum! :) Hope everything is going well for you and your tanks.

As to your question, I don't use CO2 anymore on my tanks. I haven't used it on this tank at all since setup. I have found that this tank with no CO2 has done better plant-wise than my tanks that did. I do have an Airstone that's on for about 8-10 hours a day, so that may help with a little amount of CO2 being introduced. I do have API leafzone as well, but I haven't added any in a long while. I think some old root tabs may be contributing to the growth of the Val and stems at the back. + I have been doing more WC's in the last two months than I normally do. That might have an impact on plant growth. The fish love the jungle of plants too which is a bonus

Happy to know it's been going well for you! :)

I'm not sure what ever affected growth of my plants, they either grew well or stalled. I wanted to experiment and do no water changes, since my tank is pretty well balanced at this moment. Just to see if that has any impact on plants, as well as on my stock.
