Am I Ever Going To Get My Discus?

well i was meant to be going to get my discus tomorrow but i have to work so ive emailed to see about going next saturday , i got an email back saying he will be in malaysia until june 1st so now i have got to wait until the following weekend . grrrrrr this is really starting to get on my nerves now i could go somewhere else but they havent got the strains i want so i guess i will just wait until he gets back from malaysia.

i did think about it but as i have all the keys if i dont go in then nobody works , and i dont exactly think that would make me popular . so i have a choice , either comprimise or wait another week. guess il just have to console myself with some more cardinals and plants

If you're responsible for more than just your own workload then it's kinda hard to pull a sicky, surely though there must be someone who would take over if you were actually sick, no? I can't believe I'm trying to talk you into pulling a fast one on your work I am in the same boat, if I pull a sicky things stop and have to wait on me...not ideal but not my doing either...

I've been reading some of your posts on Discus, you've gone through a lot to be ready for them, it must be driving you nuts...I guess you've waited this long though so waiting 2 more weeks is do-able...just a very very annoying I would imagine...

yes it is annoying , and yes i have been through a lot of obsticles to get ready for the discus , but i knew last week that i needed to be in work this weekend , and had already penciled in next weekend for the discus , so really ive only got to wait an extra week. dissapointing but not the end of the world .

unfortunately when you are in a position of responsibility on a 2 million pound project its not that simple . if i did that and something went wrong then it would be me up the road . as badly as it sucks i just gotta swallow it . all i will do to "compensate" myself is buy some more cardinals order some more plants get drunk and sulk

lol funny you should say that ive got 36 bottles of stella in the freezer getting nice and cold its actully worked out quite well as my dad who moved to surrey a few months ago and ive not seen since , just rang and invited me up there for the weekend next week , so il spen the weekend in the pub with him then the following week i WILL have my discus. the only trouble is now that i will be forced to buy a couple of extra fish for my inconvenience

well i feel i have suitably compensated myself stopped on way home from work and got 12 more large cardinals and 2 of the most stunning gold rams , these boys are drop dead gorgoeus , seriously rich colours. i feel appeased
