My whitespot cleared up in a week after I blacked out the tank and put salts in with the boys.

Try and tempt him with some frozen food or live food. I've got some great frozen blocks of brineshrimp that are pre-soaked in garlic juice. A good investment. P@H should have them on a 5 for £10 deal.

Can i ask how blacking out the tank cures whitespot? i only asked because i never did that. I just used the meds. Hope he pulls through. White spot is horrible to deal with. Ramjet was on deaths door and not moving and pretty much died from it but i brought him back to life with a lot of tlc and persevearance.

Hi, well the paraistes on the fish cant live without light, so it helps alot. I never used to do this ither until i found out it did charms along witht he meds and salt im glad ramjet is alright now, just when there nearly gone they seem to get better lol. Alphie is in a good way now, i mean he doesnt have far tos wim to the top and has alot of room in the tank, its being treated with white spot and is balcked out.
