Must be time to upgrade again! Seriously wondering whether I have an addiction haha.

Decided my four livebearer ladies would be far better off in recently decommissioned 65l rather than the 23l edge... But that will leave me with an empty tank. Will I put it in storage or get yet more fish? Watch this space!

Sell the edge & buy another bigger tank!
That's what I'm doing, decided I'd had enough of the edge & it's fiddly cleaning, so ordered a new 2 ft 60 litre tank.
This hobby should come with a health warning lol

The edge was given to me from freecycle so it wouldn't be right to sell it, even as a set up with new media etc I would still feel bad about it...

Plus it's a really nice looking tank, definitely has the wow factor. Bloody useless as hospital or fry tank so will have to think carefully about this!

Maybe get a betta for the 23L? Though not sure how well they do in it. Probably much better than mine did in a 25L bowl.

I won a 46 litre edge recently. It's on ebay now. I had every intention of setting it up but took one look at the fancy pants design and went right off the idea.

Sell it and put the money towards a different, more practical, more-volume-for-your-money tank. I am!

I understand you not wanting to sell if it was from free cycle, why not free cycle it again?
I have a Betta in mine & it does fine as long as the tank's not filled to the top.they're lovely looking tanks but totally impractical

I already have a 200l and a 20l in use and a spare 65l as well as the Edge...I think any more tanks and I would be looking at a divorce or enforced therapy! Or at the very least a huge leccy bill!

Never looked at a betta before. Will they get on with pygmy cories?

I don't know how well they get along with armored catfish. Mine shredded a hoplo's dorsal fin. Just don't get a crowntail, I've heard they are aggressive to a lot of fish. Maybe a halfmoon, they are so beautiful. o_O Or if you wouldn't spend that much money on a HM, get a veil tail. They look nice too, but their fins are kind of droopy.

To be honest I rarely see bettas in my LFS, and not any I have thought 'wow'. Maybe I will pay more attention next time, I must say it's tempting...

In all LFS / malls and market shops, I see bettas but they all look very pale unless kept in proper conditions.
I saw this awesome crowntail swimming in a large tank with some opaline gouramis. He had a deep purple + blue coloring.

Then there were the poor little guys held in VERY small plastic cups. All pale. I think one was dead. he didn't even move his gills...

Sadguppy you have MTS, Multiple tank syndrome. There is no cure but we do run a support group right here. We call it TFF. I am afraid almost all of us have been bitten by that bug.

wont having cories (pygmy or otherwise), be a problem with the Edge23?

i.e. if water is full to the top to maximise the 'stunning' factor, the corys will smack their cute little faces on the glass everytime they dart up to breath.
Doubt they're smart enough to find the small opening.

My Edge23 has just finished cycling...planned it to be non cory ( :( ) due to this issue...wondering what tiny critters to put in myself
