I absolutely love the idea..
I have an empty ten gallon at the moment.. hmm.. Naah, I have plans for it.
It sounds like it'd be really nice though.. definitely darker substrate with medium to low-light plants.. Some caves and stuff too.
Another idea is blind cave fish. The ones in my LFS are albino.
He was really really light, almost a creme color and the typical albino eyes. He was going for $35 though so I couldn't get him. Have yet to see another....
I would avoid putting a paradise fish in there though because they are considered to be a semi-aggressive fish and not suitable for a peaceful community tank. The albino frogs are African Clawed frogs and will grow too large and voracious for the tank as well. African Dwarf Frogs do not come in albino.
The most commonly found albino corys are C. aeneus and C. paleatus (bronze and pepper corys are the common names). C. sterbai also come in albino, but are hard to come by.
Blind Cave Tetras would be a good choice instead of the paradise fish. They are active and get to a good enough size that you wouldn't just have little fish.
Good luck! If you do it, I'd love to see pictures!
