Algae?

I have always had algae in my tank, but recently I have noticed an algea that is bright green. Is this ok? normal?

Will just be a different species taken over if youve noticed a change, algae does no harm as long as you don't mind the look of it, and lots of fish like to eat is - so perfectly OK and normal .

Different types of algae spores tend to come into the tank though water from other sources, new plants or even fish.

is it the sort that will come off in sheets?? i just had this in my large biorb and completly broke it down to get rid of it, seems to spread really fast and that was without lights on, it was bright green too, i just couldnt stand to look at it any more, yet the biorb on the other side of the bed suffred from one that was more pale and browner, strange eh?
