Algae On Snail

Hi....hopefully, you guys can answer this for me.....I have a small little tank....3 gallons.....i have a gold mystery snail in it and he seems to be doing fine. My question is, he is starting to have alot of algae grow on the shell......leave it? remove him and clean it off the shell? It doesn't bother me, but I thought it may bother him. Can you tell me the best path to take? Thanks for your time and expertise.

I get these funny little gold snails appear too! They're right quick - too quick for the assasins sometimes. Watch 'em, they'll have your plants if you'r unlucky!

Talking about different snails .

I doubt your getting golden apple snails in your tank.

And I also doubt your snails are eating your plants (most pest snails can only eat dying plants, people often fail with growing plants and to them it seems like it's the snails that's eating them).

If you post a pic of your snails we can ID for you though .
