Hi..

I have algae and this weird fungusy substance that looks like dust growing on the leaves on my plants..and i cant get rid of it!

Ive added another powerhead to increase the flow in the tank, ive reduced the light, ive reduced the amount of food i give the
fish, ive been doing 15 percent water changes every second day but it still wont go away!

Water stats are
Ammonia-0
Nitrite- 0
Nitrate- 20
pH 6.6

I've been using the yeast method c02 injection but have saved up for a pressurised cylinder for more control and will be switching to that very soon..

Do you think its the c02 injection method causing the algae?..the tank is 75 gal

thanks

what i meant to say with the CO2 is whether uncontrolled and uneven injection could cause algae

i use seachem iron and potassium

i keep the iron at around 0.5ppm and potassium about 20
